For this home staging project, we worked with a spacious penthouse with panoramic views and an open-plan layout. The challenge was to transform the vast interior into a cohesive and inviting living space, balancing scale, function, and aesthetic appeal.
In large living areas, seating arrangements do more than provide comfort — they shape the entire space. Instead of positioning a sofa against a wall, a dual-sided sectional was placed at the center of the room, serving as a natural divider between different zones. This allows for an uninterrupted flow of movement while maximizing the functionality of the seating area. One side faces the primary living space, while the other creates an additional lounge, making the most of the available square footage.
When working with high ceilings and vast walls, large-scale artwork becomes essential. Here, a bold yet minimalist piece was introduced as a key visual anchor, drawing the eye and adding depth to the interior. Without oversized decor, expansive spaces can feel empty and unfinished — statement pieces like this help create a well-balanced and curated atmosphere.
Rather than standalone pieces, multiple wall-mounted consoles were combined into a single, elongated floating element, creating a seamless visual line. This approach is often used in both grand spaces and compact homes to add functional storage without disrupting the architecture. In large interiors, it reinforces continuity and rhythm, making the design feel intentional and cohesive.
Mirrors are a powerful tool in expansive interiors — not just for reflecting light, but also for enhancing spatial perception. In this project, a series of identical mirrors was arranged along the wall, transforming them from simple reflective surfaces into a deliberate artistic statement. This technique turns mirrors into something more — almost an art installation, adding rhythm and structure while visually expanding the space.
A mix of textured stone, soft upholstery, and sleek metal finishes ensured the space remained visually dynamic and inviting. In grand interiors, these material contrasts prevent a cold, impersonal feel, instead creating a layered, sophisticated atmosphere.
Whether you’re working with an intimate space or a vast open-plan layout, the goal remains the same — creating an environment where every guest feels at home the moment they step in.
