Is a peaceful retreat possible in the very heart of Dubai, surrounded by skyscrapers? Yes. Here’s a new furnishing project for an apartment on the 54th floor of Grande Signature Residences, developed by Emaar.
“Keys of Moscow”, a real estate agency, reached out to us to furnish this Dubai apartment for sale, while making sure it would also work perfectly for future rentals. This meant creating an ergonomic, versatile, and aesthetic interior that would accommodate various lifestyles. The result confirmed this approach: the apartment was successfully sold.
The thoughtful layout of this 3-bedroom apartment (301.23 sq m) ensures a natural flow: an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is distinct from the private rooms. An expansive terrace (118.6 sq m) gracefully wraps around the entire apartment, with direct access from every room, blurring the line between indoors and outdoors and creating a seamless connection to the views beyond. The total furnishing cost for the entire apartment came to AED 80,000.
The colour palette is intentionally neutral, with shades of sand, wood and earth. It encourages relaxation — essential in a fast-moving city — and allows for easy personalisation with decorative accents, while keeping the focus on the spectacular views outside.
Both guest bedrooms feature a calm palette with eye-catching details. In one, a Newberry Blocks bed with rhythmically stitched headboard is paired with a light Bridge bedside table. The other takes on a more restrained look with a grey Newberry Stripes bed and a Contempo bedside table in dark veneer.
The living room is multi-functional and perfect for leisure. The coffee table sits level with the seat of the L-shaped Flow sofa — convenient and visually harmonious.
Next to the sofa, two sculptural Nur chairs — lightweight enough to turn easily towards guests or face the bookshelf for quiet reading.
The low Contempo shelving was chosen intentionally: at 90 cm high, it’s ideal for reaching a favourite book without leaving your chair — everything is designed for comfort and ease.
The shelving also serves to divide the living room from the dining area, subtly zoning the space.
The dining area, with panoramic views of Dubai’s skyline, feels cosy and inviting. The table, with its solid wood top and monumental legs, symbolises family and tradition. Naomi chairs with cushioned seats and backs offer ergonomic comfort — ideal for lingering conversations. A graphic rug adds lightness and pulls the whole composition together.
Dubai’s climate makes terraces true living spaces — a place to enjoy fresh coffee at sunrise or read a book while glancing at the city’s night skyline. This wraparound balcony includes several functional zones arranged at key points along its length.
