    Location: Dubai, Grand, Creek Harbour
    Area: 64 m²
    Total furnishing cost: 57,235 AED

    Brief and Concept

The clients asked for a modern interior with a warm palette, a separate bedroom, hidden storage, and a living area suitable for relaxing and spending time together. The apartment arrived in a standard white-box condition, typical for the region, so the task was to give it character, depth, and a relaxing mood without overloading the space. The design team focused on calm lines, tactile materials, and layered lighting. Furniture and décor from Dantone Home became the main tools for shaping this feeling: from large pieces like the sofa and bed to smaller elements such as cushions, lamps, and art.

In the Grand residential tower at Creek Harbour, a 64 m² one-bedroom apartment has been furnished as a quiet retreat for business stays
The space was designed to feel composed and comfortable, with the atmosphere of a boutique hotel and the practicality of a well-organised home
Dantone Home pieces define the interior: they set the tone, structure the layout, and bring soft warmth into every room
We wanted the apartment to feel serene from the first step inside. Natural tones, gentle contrasts, and soft light help the space settle around you rather than compete for attention
    Irina Rif, lead designer

    Planning a Compact Space

The layout was gently adjusted while respecting the existing structure and engineering:

    • A separate bedroom was planned with enough room for a generous bed, nightstands, and a reading chair by the panoramic window.
    • A utility area with laundry and storage was concealed behind built-in facades.
    • The kitchen–living space was arranged so that cooking, dining, and lounging are clearly defined by furniture and light, but still share one open volume.

This approach allowed the apartment to keep a feeling of openness while providing the functions expected from a full home.

Soft light and clean lines shape an inviting entry, where the console becomes both a functional surface and a quiet design accent

Living Area: Soft Geometry and Natural Texture

The living room is built around the Willow Corner Sofa Bed in a textured neutral fabric. It offers generous seating for everyday use and can serve as an additional sleeping area when needed. In front of it stands the Ted Coffee Table, whose simple lines and warm oak finish add structure and a natural accent.

Cushions such as Isla, Elara, Point and a woven camel design introduce gentle contrast and depth on the sofa and armchairs
The mix of natural textures and simple geometric forms brings a sense of harmony to the room, letting every piece stand out without overwhelming the space

The Nature Sideboard runs along one wall, providing storage and a platform for styling. Above it, a composition of wall art, including Larache, Bas-Relief I, and Bas-Relief IV, introduces soft relief and a subtle graphic layer. Two rugs, Tile Beige and Marrakesh, define zones within the room and bring extra comfort underfoot.

Balance was important in every decision. Each texture, colour and proportion was chosen so the rooms read as one story, even though the footprint is compact

Dining Corner: Everyday Rituals with a View

The dining area sits between the kitchen and the living zone. A round table with upholstered chairs creates a comfortable setting for breakfasts, quick lunches between meetings, or informal dinners. Here, details complete the impression. Dantone Home tableware — Beja plates in white and red and Novello glasses for water and wine — reinforces the sense of a well-prepared, hotel-level experience, but in a private setting.

The Nur Chair adds an additional seat and a tactile note with its upholstered shell and wooden base

    Bedroom: Quiet, Restful, Hotel-Like

The bedroom continues the warm, tonal palette. The Terra Bed 180×200 is upholstered in a soft Corso fabric and paired with a Dantone Signature Classic mattress for a high level of comfort. On either side stand City Bed Tables in honey oak, which bring a gentle warmth to the room.

Soft, layered textiles and warm wood tones give the sleeping area a calm, grounded feel
Under the natural light, the console’s oak grain and artful objects look especially refined and harmonious

A Lilly Armchair by the window forms a small reading corner with views of the harbour and skyline. The City Console Table completes the room, providing a place for decorative objects and a practical surface for personal items.

The project relies on a restrained set of materials: natural-looking wood finishes, textured fabrics, plaster-like walls, and accents in warm clay and sand tones

    A Measured, Comfortable Result

The completed apartment offers a clear structure and a gentle mood. Each room has a defined function, but the whole reads as one continuous space with a consistent language of colour and texture. The full furnishing package, including furniture, lighting, textiles, rugs, decor and tableware from Dantone Home, came to 57 235 AED, forming a complete, ready-to-live-in interior.
