Italian Corner at Dantone Home. Spotlight: The Armony Kitchen

    9 February
Welcome to our Italian Corner, a dedicated space showcasing premium kitchens and wardrobes from the leading brands of the Bel Paese.

We have partnered up with Armony Cucine from Caneva, a firm chosen for its aesthetic which marries elegance with pragmatism.

While Armony’s full catalogue is available to order, our showroom features a unique, curated kitchen. This bespoke configuration is not a simple mix-and-match; it is a cohesive design that harmoniously blends signature elements from several of the brand's core collections and finishes.

A juxtaposition of marble, veneer and metal, unified by light

This kitchen is offered in two layout configurations to suit different spaces. The first is an L-shaped design with a generous run of storage and a central island, creating a practical and social hub. For a more compact footprint, the alternative is a straight-line galley layout. This efficient galley kitchen incorporates a sink, continuous worktop, and a combination of base and wall units, resulting in a clean, highly functional scheme.

    Form Follows Life

Renowned for its ergonomics, the L-shaped layout with a two-tier island creates a natural ‘work triangle’. This intelligent design minimises unnecessary movement and cleverly utilises every inch of corner space.

The two-tier island acts as the kitchen's anchor
A split-level composition: cool marble and warm wood

The two-tier island elevates functionality through its intelligent zoning. It combines an active workspace – defined by a polished 20mm Tundra Grey Classic marble worktop and an integrated, retractable light – with a lower level ideal for food prep or as a social perch. This lower tier seamlessly serves as a breakfast area or casual bar. The design brings order, introducing a clear flow and direction.

    Geometry of Order

The clean lines are established by the wall unit’s open, illuminated end panel. At the same time, its seamless construction integrates appliances and storage directly into the wall – an effect achieved through a suite of innovative systems.

Floating on light, the open-ended unit lends a sense of weightlessness to the design

The Tall Pull-Out Pantry Storage System allows entire work zones to vanish from sight. For optimising awkward corners, the Project A module offers exceptional versatility – configure it as a pull-out pantry with shelves or deep drawers or straightforward storage. It functions as a full-height door, opening smoothly inwards on specialised hinges.

An ingenious pull-out mechanism offering complete, unimpeded access
Shelving organised with a truly three-dimensional logic

The design philosophy moves beyond conventional cabinetry, evolving storage into a continuous, architectural form. These are not merely standalone units, but elements that combine to create discreet, floor-to-ceiling planes. Their flush, uninterrupted surfaces conceal a vast, meticulously organised volume. This approach dissolves visual clutter, prioritising a serene and unbroken aesthetic while delivering profound utility.

The wall units, finished in Fiammato Nero and matt lacquer, are intentionally designed not to reach the ceiling. This deliberate styling trick lightens the visual weight of the composition, creating an airy feel and preserving a sense of spaciousness even in a detail-rich kitchen. Their compact yet capacious forms ensure easy access to contents.

    Lighting the Scene

The lighting scheme has been carefully considered. A blend of linear and spot lighting provides perfect task illumination, revealing the depth of textures and transforming this three-metre functional zone into a space with its own distinctive atmosphere. The functional layout supports seamless use, with discreet, built-in sockets ensuring appliances for your daily rituals are always ready without the clutter of trailing cables.

The base units in an X-Steel finish form the design's robust foundation. This sophisticated steel-look adds a clean, technological edge to the interior, achieving the ideal balance of elegance and enduring practicality.

    Material Curation

The material scheme centres on a considered interplay of textures. The cabinet fronts combine a soft matt lacquer, warm brushed oak veneer, and the cool, technical edge of Deep Grey X-Steel – a refined finish that provides striking aesthetics alongside proven durability. This curated palette is grounded by the substantial, polished surface of Tundra Grey Classic marble, which flows across the countertop, island, and backsplash to form a cohesive foundation.

A dialogue between cool marble and warm wood, conducted in a shared language of form
A play of textures: veined marble, polished metal, and fluted timber

Every detail is specified for quality. All fronts are 22mm thick, including the fluted doors in treated veneer. The cabinet structure is engineered from high-density board by leading Italian manufacturers. Flawless, silent operation is ensured by premium hardware – hinges and drawer runners sourced from Italy and Germany.

This is where true refinement lies – in the mastery of detail
