I am fascinated by natural materials, which are simple and honest yet allow for unlimited freedom of thought: a single piece of wood can become anything and everything. Natural materials possess remarkable energy, and I find myself compelled to unearth it. I have long been partial to the duo of dark wood and brass, as you may have noticed in my past collections. Brass has its own beauty yet its charm surfaces over time – in naturally occurring patina, tarnish, and gasoline stains.
The Textures furniture collection stands out for its distinctive three-dimensional facades, crafted from wooden blocks. This design, paired with refined brass accents, infuses each piece with the contemporary spirit of London or New York, capturing the vibrant energy of a bustling metropolis. The combination of textured wood and brass creates a striking contrast that defines the collection's modern aesthetic.
Brass is another signature element of the collection, seamlessly tying together each piece. Minimalist brass handles add a dynamic touch, while decorative brackets at the base emphasize the rounded silhouettes. The collection features eight models made from dark oak with a distinctive natural grain and a pleasing tactile finish, including two versions of a chest of drawers, a bar, a console, a coffee table, a cabinet-desk, a media unit, and an open shelving unit.
