Nicole belongs to what's sometimes called the "puffy" aesthetic — deeply rounded, body-friendly forms after years of sharp-edged minimalism — and the shape reads as comfort before you've even sat down. Nothing here comes to a sharp edge: the arms roll thick and full, the seat cushion swells rather than sitting flat, and even the legs are rounded pucks rather than tapered points. The bouclé fabric absorbs light instead of reflecting it, an effect that reads more strongly on a shape this soft than it would on a flatter piece, giving the whole sofa a heavier, more grounded presence. Overall 260 × 110 × 120 cm, with a deep 60 cm seat.
